摘要：In this talk I will recall the history of Bergman inner functions, present the main results known so far, mention several elementary examples, and most importantly, discuss an open problem in this area that I am currently working with. The talk is accessible to all graduate students in complex analysis and functional analysis.

报告人简介：朱克和教授，1981年在国防科技大学本科毕业，1986年在美国纽约州立大学水牛校区(SUNY-Buffalo)获博士学位。目前担任美国纽约州立大学(SUNY)奥尔巴尼分校正教授。2004年12月被聘为汕头大学讲座教授。2007年获纽约州立大学杰出研究成果奖(Excellence in Research Award)。

朱克和教授一直从事函数论、泛函分析方面的研究工作。至今已发表论文一百多篇,其中包括Bul1. Amer. Math. Soc., J. Funct. Anal., Amer. J Math. 等国际知名数学杂志;出版专著7本,其中《Operator Theory in Function Spaces》、《An Introduction to Operator Algebras》、《Theory of Bergman Spaces》作为国际上函数论和泛函分析方向研究生用书。
