摘要：In this talk we will introduce the class of m-isometries on Hilbert and Banach spaces pioneered by Agler and Stankus in 1995. This 

class of operators is a natural generalization of isometries. We will give a survey of the basic results of this class of operators and 

present many examples of such operators, including some recent examples of m-isometries on de Branges-Roynyak spaces studied by

Luo, Gu and Richter.

报告人简介：顾才兴，加州州立理工大学教授。主要研究兴趣为算子理论等。在Toeplitz算子，Hankel算子，m-等距算子以及Branges-Roynyak空间

上作出了重要的工作。已在Adv. Math.，Math. Ann., JFA等国际著名刊物上发表论文多篇。
